The Patriarchy Harms All

All hierarchies, specifically (and especially) the patriarchy, relie upon the subjugation of will to exist. Patriarchy created rigid narratives and false dichotomies regarding gender in order to impose its misogynistic indoctrination. One of the first deities was Inanna, the godess of sex AND war, love AND justice. It wasn’t until the Akkadian patriarchy interfered with the natural procession of human development that Inanna was stripped of Her raw power and reduced to merely the patron of love as Venus. Patriarchy has fragmented our psychology to certain traits as masculine (superior) or feminine (inferior). This has wrought untold suffering upon women for thousands of years, making them the target of sadistic sexual tyranny, subjugating their power and elevating toxic masculinity to status of righteousness. This oppressive male privilege is a brutal assault on female autonomy. It also is a vehicle of devastation on the male psychological well-being.

Jung recognized Anima and animus, the feminine and masculine aspects of our inner experience. According to Jung, a fully individuated person fully realizes and integrates these aspects of self into a harmoniously actualized existence. Without this integration, we suffer fragmentation and are fraught with psychological disturbance.

The discord inflicted by the patriarchy begins with this severing of natural aspects of our existence from our psycho-spiritual experience. We are conditioned to disconnect from part of our natural way of being by the cultural demands of the Patriarchy. We are flung into dissonance by this false dichotomy, left reeling from the wounding suffered at the hands of mono-seeking oppressors.
